My laptop is in pieces still. I had to order some parts that should get here by Monday or Tuesday. In the interim, I'm very sad. :-(
I had a craving for chiles rellenos (stuffed chillis) the other night. The bright white flash of the camera doesn't do food justice; it came out a little better than it looks. The homemade tortillas were definitely the best part, though.

Funny, I've never been a particularly big fan of chille rellenos., but sometimes I get the bug. Whatever some might say about the Balkanization of American culture by the influx of immmigrant groups, my goodness, such things as chille rellenos are as American as apple pie for those of us who grew up here in this area! Wonderful stuff!
If/when you and the hubby make it out here I would like to hold open the invitation to grab a bite at your favorite joint in the OC. Something tells me you could show me a tasty hole in the wall or two! 'night. Take care.
