Why do I share?
Have you ever sent an email only to regret it the very second after pressing the "send" button? Fortunately, in the world of blogging you can always "unsend" your posts. This one was just a tad more deep and private than I think I care to share just now. It was up long enough, however, for my one commentator to give you a sense about it.
It may reappear some day, just not now.

Maybe a tad too deep. As you can see, I chickened out. I said a little too much about me and maybe a little too much about someone else, anonymous though she is.

ah well.....one advantage of blogging is most people do not connect the "web you" with the "real world you"

I think the "web you" should let the post stand. One of the purposes of blogging is to write thoughts not necessarily share-able by the "real world you".

Maybe I should just spill the beans on JFK....
But seriously, if the blog were totally anonymous, it'd be no problem. As much as I strive to live my life as an open book...and character is what you do in the dark, after all...
...I haven't always exhibited perfect constancy of character. To share something about those lapses I would need to find a compelling answer to this post's namesake. I have a few, but are they compelling enough?
